About: Suzanne Leonard, Kinesiologist
Suzanne has always followed her dreams passionately, putting her heart and dedication into everything she considered important to her. Whilst studying a Bachelor of Science, with a double major in Computer Science and Psychology, Suzanne also trained as a competitive Latin and Ballroom dancer. Upon leaving Uni, Suzanne moved from South Australia to Melbourne to further her dancing career. At the age of 26 Suzanne left dancing, wanting to pursue other areas of her life. This enabled her to progress her career in the corporate world, starting as a Personal Assistant, and moving on to become a respected IT Consultant, eventually moving to a permanent position in a global company as their Information Security Controllership Leader.
Having reached a level of such responsibility, and having worked for many large corporations in her capacity as a consultant, Suzanne decided that, although she enjoyed the work she was doing, she wanted to explore other options outside the corporate world.
At that time she was suffering migraines, sometimes 2 or 3 a week - and after being told that they were stress related and there was nothing that the doctors could do other than prescribe painkillers, Suzanne went to see a kinesiologist recommended by a friend. The migraines stopped a few weeks later, and Suzanne's dedication to Kinesiology began. Determined to change her career path and wanting to work in an area that could bring others the power to excell in their own lives, Suzanne spent 4 years studying to reach Advanced Diploma level as a Professional Kinesiology Practitioner in Melbourne.
During this time Suzanne's business as a Kinesiologist grew rapidly, as she juggled her career in Information Security with her growing business as a Kinesiologist, whilst at the same time studying.
Suzanne and her husband David returned to South Australia in November 2005 to be nearer to family, and she is now practicing Kinesiology from Dulwich in the Eastern suburbs.
